Daniel Yitzhak Pazo
Born: Tracy, California
Age: 22
Daniel is a Chemist, a recent graduate of the prestigious University of California, Berkeley,
California (the world's top Chemistry University) where he studied chemistry and graduated with Honors.
He is currently serving a fellowship as a chemist at the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia. He plans
to continue on to attend graduate and post-graduate and attain a Ph.D. in Chemistry.
He is a member of the prestigious Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, and Past Master Councillor of Lodi
Chapter Order of DeMolay. His dedication to his studies and excellent scholastic discipline have qualified him to be
the recipient of numerous scholarships including the Scottish Rite Sovereign Grand Commander (located in Washington, D.C.),
the Northern California DeMolay Foundation, the Lodi Hispanic Commerce and numerous others.
From
a young age Daniel began his musical studies and training with his Father, Piper Major Dr. Raphael Pazo, diligently
studying the Scottish Highland Bagpipes. He continued his bagpipes studies with Pipe Major Harry Sinclair McNulty of
Scotland, and in Californa with Professional Piper and Senior Piping Judge, Mr. Ian Whitelaw. He is a very talented
piper and posseses a vast repertoire of Scottish and Irish music selections suitable for any event.
Daniel
plays a set of Premium MacCallum Bagpipes made of African Blackwood, Modern Ivory and Silver.
